Provide a tall, well-ventilated enclosure with sturdy branches and safe foliage. Appropriate UVB lighting, a suitable temperature gradient, and reliable access to clean drinking water are essential. Maintain suitable humidity while ensuring good airflow, and feed appropriately sized live insects.
Veiled Chameleons generally should be housed individually. Before purchasing, confirm the animal’s age, sex, feeding history, health, and details supporting the claimed translucent morph. The appearance alone does not establish its genetics.
