Javan Water Monitors need a very large, secure enclosure as they grow. Provide suitable heating, a basking area, hiding places, and a spacious water area for swimming and soaking. Maintain appropriate temperatures and humidity for their health.

These monitors are carnivorous. Offer a varied, nutritionally appropriate diet based on the animal’s age and size. Monitor their growth and adjust food portions as needed.

Javan Water Monitors become large and powerful. They require experienced care, significant space, and a long-term commitment. Plan for their adult size before bringing one home.
